My neighbour has a camera monitoring my home/garden. Are they allowed to do that?

IMY believes that camera surveillance of neighbours' homes and gardens is not allowed. In principle, there are no legitimate reason for a person to monitor their neighbours' properties, unless the neighbours have consented to the surveillance.
